1 Chronicles 29:11-12

11 aYours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all. 12 bBoth riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. cIn your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.

Psalms 47:2

2For the Lord, the Most High, dis to be feared,
ea great king over all the earth.

Jeremiah 27:5-8

5“It is I who gby my great power and my outstretched arm hhave made the earth, with the men and animals that are on the earth, iand I give it to whomever it seems right to me. 6 jNow I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, kmy servant, land I have given him also the beasts of the field to serve him. 7 mAll the nations shall serve him and nhis son and ohis grandson, puntil the time of his own land comes. qThen many nations and great kings shall make him their slave.

8“‘“But if any nation or kingdom will not serve this Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, rand put its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation swith the sword, with famine, and with pestilence, declares the Lord, until I have consumed it by his hand.

Daniel 4:17

17The sentence is by the decree of tthe watchers, the decision by the word of uthe holy ones, to the end that the living may know that the Most High vrules the kingdom of men wand gives it to whom he will and xsets over it the lowliest of men.’

Daniel 4:25

25 ythat you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. You shall be made zto eat grass like an ox, and you shall be wet with the dew of heaven, and aaseven periods of time shall pass over you, till abyou know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.

Daniel 4:32-35

32 acand you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. And you shall be made to eat grass like an ox, and seven periods of time shall pass over you, aduntil you know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.” 33Immediately the word was fulfilled against Nebuchadnezzar. aeHe was driven from among men and ate grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair grew as long as eagles’ feathers, and his nails were like birds’ claws.

Nebuchadnezzar Restored

34 afAt the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and agmy reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored ahhim who lives forever,

aifor his dominion is an everlasting dominion,
and ajhis kingdom endures from generation to generation;
35 akall the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing,
and alhe does according to his will among the host of heaven
and among the inhabitants of the earth;
amand none can stay his hand
or ansay to him, “What have you done?”
