Job 22:2-3

2 d“Can a man be profitable to God?
Surely he who is wise is profitable to himself.
3Is it any pleasure to the Almighty if you are in the right,
or is it gain to him if you emake your ways blameless?

Job 35:6-7

6If you have sinned, fwhat do you accomplish against him?
And if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to him?
7 gIf you are righteous, what do you give to him?
Or what does he receive from your hand?

Psalms 16:2-3

The word  pit is transposed from the preceding line; Hebrew  For without cause they hid the pit of their net for me; without cause they dug for my life

Proverbs 16:2-3

2 pAll the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
but the Lord qweighs the spirit.
3 rCommit your work to the Lord,
and your plans will be established.
