The Command to Rebuild the Temple

14 And ^lthe Lord stirred up the spirit of ^mZerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of ⁿJoshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of all ^othe remnant of the people. And they came and ^pworked on the house of the Lord of hosts, their God,

Zechariah 4:6-10

6 Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to ^qZerubbabel: ^rNot by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts. 7 Who are you, ^sO great mountain? Before ^tZerubbabel ^uyou shall become a plain. And he shall bring forward ^vthe top stone amid shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’”

8 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 9 ^w“The hands of ^xZerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also ^ycomplete it. ^zThen you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you. 10 ^aaFor whoever has despised the day of small things shall rejoice, and shall see ^abthe plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.
