16 and they lived in Gilead, in Bashan and in its towns, and in all the pasturelands of ^aSharon to their limits.

9 ^bThe land mourns and languishes;
Lebanon is confounded and withers away;
Sharon is like a desert,
and Bashan and Carmel shake off their leaves.

3 ^cStrengthen the weak hands,
and make firm the feeble knees.

10 ^dSharon shall become a pasture for flocks,
and ^ethe Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down,
for my people ^fwho have sought me.

35 ^gAnd all the residents of Lydda and ^hSharon saw him, and ⁱthey turned to the Lord.
