1 Chronicles 9:19

19Shallum the son of Kore, son of aEbiasaph, son of Korah, and his kinsmen of his fathershouse, the bKorahites, were in charge of the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent, as their fathers had been in charge of the camp of the Lord, keepers of the entrance.

1 Chronicles 26:13-19

13And they cast lots by fathershouses, csmall and great alike, for their gates. 14The lot for the east fell to Shelemiah. They cast lots also for his son Zechariah, a shrewd counselor, and his lot came out for the north. 15Obed-edom’s came out for the south, and to his sons was allotted dthe gatehouse. 16For Shuppim and eHosah it came out for the west, at the gate of Shallecheth on the road that goes up. Watch corresponded to watch. 17On the east there were six each day,

on the north four each day, on the south four each day, as well as two and two at the gatehouse.

19These were the divisions of the gatekeepers among the Korahites and the sons of Merari.

2 Chronicles 8:14

14According to the ruling of David his father, he appointed ithe divisions of the priests for their service, jand the Levites for their offices of praise and kministry before the priests las the duty of each day required, and mthe gatekeepers in their divisions at each gate, for so David nthe man of God had commanded.

Nehemiah 11:19

19The gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon and their brothers, who kept watch at the gates, were 172.
