1 Chronicles 9:33

33Now these, the asingers, the heads of fathers’ houses of the Levites, were in the chambers of the temple free from other service, for they were on duty day and night.

2 Chronicles 29:25-30

25 dAnd he stationed the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, harps, and lyres, eaccording to the commandment of David and of Gad fthe king’s seer and of gNathan the prophet, for the commandment was from the Lord through his prophets. 26The Levites stood with hthe instruments of David, iand the priests with the trumpets. 27Then Hezekiah commanded that the burnt offering be offered on the altar. And when the burnt offering began, jthe song to the Lord began also, and the trumpets, accompanied by the instruments of David king of Israel. 28The whole assembly worshiped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded. All this continued until the burnt offering was finished. 29When the offering was finished, kthe king and all who were present with him bowed themselves and worshiped. 30And Hezekiah the king and the officials commanded the Levites to sing praises to the Lord with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed down and worshiped.

2 Chronicles 31:2

2And Hezekiah appointed lthe divisions of the priests and of the Levites, division by division, each according to his service, the priests and the Levites, mfor burnt offerings and peace offerings, to minister in the gates of the camp of the Lord and to give thanks and praise.

2 Chronicles 35:15

15The singers, the sons of Asaph, were in their place naccording to the command of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king’s oseer; pand the gatekeepers were at each gate. They did not need to depart from their service, for their brothers the Levites prepared for them.

Ezra 3:10-11

10And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, the priests in their vestments came forward with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals, to praise the Lord, qaccording to the directions of David king of Israel. 11And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord,

rFor he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever toward Israel.”
And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.

Ezra 6:18

18And they set the priests sin their divisions and the Levites tin their divisions, for the service of God at Jerusalem, uas it is written in the Book of Moses.
