1 Corinthians 1:21-28

21For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach
Or  the folly of preaching
to save those who believe.
22For bJews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, 23but we preach Christ ccrucified, a stumbling block to Jews and folly to Gentiles, 24but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ dthe power of God and ethe wisdom of God. 25For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

26For consider your calling, brothers: fnot many of you were wise according to worldly standards,
Greek  according to the flesh
not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.
27But hGod chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; iGod chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; 28God chose what is low and despised in the world, even jthings that are not, to kbring to nothing things that are,

1 Corinthians 2:14

14The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are lfolly to him, and mhe is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Peter 2:7-8

7So the honor is for you who nbelieve, but for those who odo not believe,

p“The stone that the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone,”
Greek  the head of the corner

8and

r“A stone of stumbling,
and a rock of offense.”
They stumble because they disobey the word, sas they were destined to do.
