1 Corinthians 10:31-33

31So, whether you eat or drink, or awhatever you do, do all to the glory of God. 32 bGive no offense to Jews or to Greeks or to cthe church of God, 33just as dI try to please everyone in everything I do, enot seeking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved.

1 Corinthians 11:1

1 fBe imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

Philippians 3:17

17Brothers, gjoin in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk haccording to the example you have in us.

1 Thessalonians 1:6

6And iyou became imitators of us jand of the Lord, for kyou received the word in much affliction, lwith the mjoy of the Holy Spirit,

1 Thessalonians 2:2-12

2But though we had already suffered and been shamefully treated nat Philippi, as you know, owe had boldness in our God pto declare to you the gospel of God in the midst of much qconflict. 3For rour appeal does not spring from serror or timpurity or uany attempt to deceive, 4but just as we have been approved by God vto be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not wto please man, but to please God xwho tests our hearts. 5 yFor we never came with words of flattery,
Or  with a flattering speech
as you know, nor with a pretext for greedaaGod is witness.
6 abNor did we seek glory from people, whether from you or from others, acthough we could have made addemands as aeapostles of Christ. 7But we were afgentle

among you, ahlike a nursing mother taking care of her own children.
8So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God aibut also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us.

9For you remember, brothers, ajour labor and toil: we akworked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, while we proclaimed to you the gospel of God. 10You are witnesses, and alGod also, amhow holy and righteous and blameless was our conduct toward you believers. 11For you know how, anlike a father with his children, 12we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and aocharged apyou to walk in a manner worthy of God, aqwho calls you into his own kingdom and glory.

1 Thessalonians 2:14

14For you, brothers, arbecame imitators of asthe churches of God in Christ Jesus that are in Judea. For atyou suffered the same things from your own countrymen auas they did from the Jews,
The Greek word Ioudaioi can refer to Jewish religious leaders and others under their influence, who opposed the Christian faith in that time

1 Thessalonians 4:1-8

A Life Pleasing to God

1Finally, then, brothers,
Or  brothers and sisters; also verses 10, 13
we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you axreceived from us ayhow you ought to walk and azto please God, just as you are doing, that you bado so more and more.
2For bbyou know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus. 3For this is the will of God, bcyour sanctification:
Or  your holiness
bethat you abstain from sexual immorality;
4that each one of you know how to control his own bfbody
Or  how to take a wife for himself; Greek  how to possess his own vessel
in holiness and bhhonor,
5not in bithe passion of lust bjlike the Gentiles bkwho do not know God; 6that no one transgress and blwrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is bman avenger in all these things, as we told you beforehand and solemnly warned you. 7For bnGod has not called us for boimpurity, but in holiness. 8Therefore bpwhoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, bqwho gives his Holy Spirit to you.

2 Thessalonians 3:6-10

Warning Against Idleness

6Now we command you, brothers, brin the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, bsthat you keep away from any btbrother buwho is walking in idleness and not in accord with the tradition that you received from us. 7For you yourselves know bvhow you ought to imitate us, because bwwe were not idle when we were with you, 8nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but bxwith toil and labor we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you. 9It was bynot because we do not have that right, but to give you in ourselves bzan example to imitate. 10For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: caIf anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat.
