1 Corinthians 13:4-8

4 aLove is patient and bkind; love cdoes not envy or boast; it dis not arrogant 5or rude. It edoes not insist on its own way; it fis not irritable or resentful;
Greek  irritable and does not count up wrongdoing
6it hdoes not rejoice at wrongdoing, but irejoices with the truth. 7 jLove bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, kendures all things.

8Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.

Galatians 5:14

14For lthe whole law is fulfilled in one word: m“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

James 2:8-13

8If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, n“You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well. 9But if you oshow partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point phas become guilty of all of it. 11For he who said, q“Do not commit adultery,” also said, r“Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12So speak and so act as those who are to be judged under sthe law of liberty. 13For tjudgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

1 John 3:17-19

17But uif anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet vcloses his heart against him, whow does God’s love abide in him? 18Little children, let us not xlove in word or talk but in deed and yin truth.

19By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him;

1 John 4:7-8

God Is Love

7Beloved, zlet us love one another, for love is from God, and aawhoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 abAnyone who does not love does not know God, because acGod is love.

1 John 4:21

21And adthis commandment we have from him: aewhoever loves God must also love his brother.
