1 Corinthians 15:12-27

The Resurrection of the Dead

12Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, ahow can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13But if there is no resurrection of the dead, bthen not even Christ has been raised. 14And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain. 15We are even found to be misrepresenting God, because we testified about God that che raised Christ, whom he did not raise if it is true that the dead are not raised. 16For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised. 17And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile and dyou are still in your sins. 18Then those also who ehave fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19If in Christ we have hope
Or  we have hoped
in this life only, gwe are of all people most to be pitied.

20But in fact hChrist has been raised from the dead, ithe firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21For as jby a man came death, kby a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. 22For las in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 23But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then mat his coming nthose who belong to Christ. 24Then comes the end, when he delivers othe kingdom to God the Father after destroying pevery rule and every authority and power. 25For he must reign quntil he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy to be rdestroyed is death. 27For s“God
Greek he
has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him.

Philippians 3:21

21who will transform uour lowly body vto be like his glorious body, wby the power that enables him even xto subject all things to himself.

1 Thessalonians 4:14-16

14For ysince we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him zthose who have fallen asleep. 15For this we declare to you aaby a word from the Lord,
Or  by the word of the Lord
that acwe who are alive, who are left until adthe coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.
16For aethe Lord himself will descend affrom heaven agwith a cry of command, with the voice of ahan archangel, and aiwith the sound of the trumpet of God. And ajthe dead in Christ will rise first.

Revelation of John 20:6

6 akBlessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such althe second death has no power, but they will be ampriests of God and of Christ, and they anwill reign with him for a thousand years.

Revelation of John 20:12-13

12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and aobooks were opened. Then another book was opened, which is apthe book of life. And aqthe dead were judged by what was written in the books, araccording to what they had done. 13And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, asDeath and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, ataccording to what they had done.
