2 Corinthians 5:1-8

Our Heavenly Dwelling

1For we know that if bthe tent that is cour earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, da house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2For in this tent ewe groan, longing to fput on our heavenly dwelling, 3if indeed by putting it on
Some manuscripts  putting it off
we may not be found naked.
4For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdenednot that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal hmay be swallowed up by life. 5He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, iwho has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.

6So we are always of good courage. We know that jwhile we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, 7for kwe walk by faith, not lby sight. 8Yes, we are of good courage, and we mwould rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

Philippians 1:23

1 Thessalonians 4:14

Hebrews 11:13-16

13These all died in faith, snot having received the things promised, but thaving seen them and greeted them from afar, and uhaving acknowledged that they were vstrangers and exiles on the earth. 14For people who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland. 15If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, wthey would have had opportunity to return. 16But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed xto be called their God, for yhe has prepared for them a city.
