1 Corinthians 15:42-44

42 ^aSo is it with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable; what is raised is imperishable. 43 It is sown in dishonor; ^bit is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power. 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

1 Thessalonians 4:14-16

14 For ^csince we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him ^dthose who have fallen asleep. 15 For this we declare to you ^eby a word from the Lord, ^{▼▼Or by the word of the Lord} that ^gwe who are alive, who are left until ^hthe coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For ⁱthe Lord himself will descend ^jfrom heaven ^kwith a cry of command, with the voice of ^lan archangel, and ^mwith the sound of the trumpet of God.
