1 Corinthians 15:53-57

53For this perishable body must put on the imperishable, and athis mortal body must put on immortality. 54When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

bDeath is swallowed up in victory.”
55 c“O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”
56The sting of death is sin, and dthe power of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God, ewho gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

21For to me ito live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell. 23 jI am hard pressed between the two. My desire is kto depart and lbe with Christ, for that is far better.

2 Timothy 4:6-8

2 Peter 1:13-15

13I think it right, as long as I am in this vbody,
Greek tent; also verse 14
xto stir you up by way of reminder,
14 ysince I know that the putting off of my body will be soon, zas our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me. 15And I will make every effort so that after my departure you may be able at any time to recall these things.
