1 Corinthians 2:9-14

9But, as it is written,

10these things dGod has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even ethe depths of God. 11For who knows a person’s thoughts fexcept the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12Now gwe have received not hthe spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. 13And we impart this iin words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, jinterpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual.

14The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are lfolly to him, and mhe is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

2 Corinthians 3:6-8

6who has made us sufficient to be nministers of oa new covenant, not of pthe letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but qthe Spirit gives life.

7Now if rthe ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory sthat the Israelites could not gaze at Mosesface because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, 8will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory?

1 Thessalonians 2:13

13And twe also thank God constantly
Or without ceasing
for this, that when you received vthe word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it wnot as the word of men
The Greek word anthropoi can refer to both men and women
but as what it really is, the word of God, ywhich is at work in you believers.

Hebrews 4:12

12For zthe word of God is living and aaactive, absharper than any actwo-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and addiscerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

James 1:18
