1 Corinthians 3:6-9

6 aI planted, bApollos watered, cbut God gave the growth. 7So dneither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. 8He who plants and he who waters are one, and each ewill receive his wages according to his labor. 9For we are fGod’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, gGod’s building.

1 Corinthians 9:7-11

7 hWho serves as a soldier at his own expense? iWho plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Or who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?

8Do I say these things on human authority? Does not the Law say the same? 9For it is written in the Law of Moses, j“You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 10Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written kfor our sake, because lthe plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop. 11 mIf we have sown spiritual things among you, is it too much if we reap material things from you?
