1 Corinthians 3:9-15

9For we are aGod’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, bGod’s building.

10 cAccording to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a dfoundation, and esomeone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. 11For no one can lay a ffoundation other gthan that which is laid, hwhich is Jesus Christ. 12Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw 13 ieach one’s work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed jby fire, and kthe fire will test what sort of work each one has done. 14If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, lhe will receive a reward. 15If anyone’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, mbut only as through fire.

2 Corinthians 10:13-16

13But we will not boast nbeyond limits, but will oboast only with regard to the area of influence God assigned to us, pto reach even to you. 14For we are not overextending ourselves, as though we did not reach you. qFor we were the first to come all the way to you with the gospel of Christ. 15We do not boast beyond limit in the labors of others. But our hope is that ras your faith increases, our area of influence among you may be sgreatly enlarged, 16so that we may preach the gospel in lands beyond you, without boasting of work already done in another’s area of influence.
