1 Corinthians 4:4-5

4 ^aFor I am not aware of anything against myself, ^bbut I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me. 5 Therefore ^cdo not pronounce judgment before the time, ^dbefore the Lord comes, ^ewho will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. ^fThen each one will receive his commendation from God.

The Light of the Gospel

1 Therefore, having ^othis ministry ^pby the mercy of God, ^{▼▼Greek as we have received mercy} we do not lose heart. 2 But we have renounced ^rdisgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice ^{▼▼Greek to walk in} cunning or ^tto tamper with God’s word, but ^uby the open statement of the truth ^vwe would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.

1 Thessalonians 2:3-12
