1 Corinthians 4:9-13

9For I think that God has exhibited us apostles as last of all, alike men sentenced to death, because we bhave become a spectacle to the world, to angels, and to men. 10 cWe are fools for Christ’s sake, but dyou are wise in Christ. eWe are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honor, but we in disrepute. 11To the present hour fwe hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and gbuffeted and hhomeless, 12and we ilabor, working with our own hands. jWhen reviled, we bless; kwhen persecuted, we endure; 13when slandered, we entreat. lWe have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, mthe refuse of all things.

2 Corinthians 4:8-10

8We are nafflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9persecuted, but onot forsaken; pstruck down, but not destroyed; 10 qalways carrying in the body the death of Jesus, rso that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.

2 Corinthians 6:3-10

3We sput no obstacle in anyone’s way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry, 4but tas servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: uby great endurance, vin afflictions, whardships, calamities, 5 xbeatings, imprisonments, yriots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; 6 zby purity, aaknowledge, patience, kindness, abthe Holy Spirit, acgenuine love; 7by adtruthful speech, and aethe power of God; with afthe weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; 8through honor and dishonor, agthrough slander and praise. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; 9as unknown, and ahyet well known; aias dying, and behold, we live; ajas punished, and yet not killed; 10 akas sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; alas poor, yet making many rich; amas having nothing, anyet possessing everything.

2 Corinthians 11:23-27

23Are they aoservants of Christ? apI am a better one—I am talking like a madmanwith far greater labors, aqfar more imprisonments, arwith countless beatings, and asoften near death. 24Five times I received at the hands of the Jews the atforty lashes less one. 25Three times I was aubeaten with rods. avOnce I was stoned. Three times I awwas shipwrecked; a night and a day I was adrift at sea; 26on frequent journeys, in danger from rivers, danger from robbers, axdanger from my own people, aydanger from Gentiles, azdanger in the city, danger in the wilderness, danger at sea, danger from false brothers; 27 bain toil and hardship, through many a sleepless night, bbin hunger and thirst, often without food,
Or  often in fasting
in cold and exposure.

2 Timothy 2:9-10

9 bdfor which I am suffering, bebound with chains as a criminal. But bfthe word of God is not bound! 10Therefore bgI endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain bhthe salvation that is in Christ Jesus with bieternal glory.

2 Timothy 3:10-12
