1 Corinthians 4:9-13

9For I think that God has exhibited us apostles as last of all, alike men sentenced to death, because we bhave become a spectacle to the world, to angels, and to men. 10 cWe are fools for Christ’s sake, but dyou are wise in Christ. eWe are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honor, but we in disrepute. 11To the present hour fwe hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and gbuffeted and hhomeless, 12and we ilabor, working with our own hands. jWhen reviled, we bless; kwhen persecuted, we endure; 13when slandered, we entreat. lWe have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, mthe refuse of all things.

2 Corinthians 6:4-10

4but nas servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: oby great endurance, pin afflictions, qhardships, calamities, 5 rbeatings, imprisonments, sriots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; 6 tby purity, uknowledge, patience, kindness, vthe Holy Spirit, wgenuine love; 7by xtruthful speech, and ythe power of God; with zthe weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; 8through honor and dishonor, aathrough slander and praise. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; 9as unknown, and abyet well known; acas dying, and behold, we live; adas punished, and yet not killed; 10 aeas sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; afas poor, yet making many rich; agas having nothing, ahyet possessing everything.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10

7So arto keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations,
Or  hears from me, even because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations. So to keep me from becoming conceited
ata thorn was given me in the flesh, aua messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited.
8 avThree times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. 9But he said to me, awMy grace is sufficient for you, for axmy power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that aythe power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 azFor the sake of Christ, then, baI am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For bbwhen I am weak, then I am strong.
