1 Corinthians 4:9-13

9 For I think that God has exhibited us apostles as last of all, ^alike men sentenced to death, because we ^bhave become a spectacle to the world, to angels, and to men. 10 ^cWe are fools for Christ’s sake, but ^dyou are wise in Christ. ^eWe are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honor, but we in disrepute. 11 To the present hour ^fwe hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and ^gbuffeted and ^hhomeless, 12 and we ⁱlabor, working with our own hands. ^jWhen reviled, we bless; ^kwhen persecuted, we endure; 13 when slandered, we entreat. ^lWe have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, ^mthe refuse of all things.

2 Corinthians 6:8-9

8 through honor and dishonor, ⁿthrough slander and praise. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; 9 as unknown, and ^oyet well known; ^pas dying, and behold, we live; ^qas punished, and yet not killed;

2 Corinthians 10:10

10 For they say, “His letters are weighty and strong, but ^rhis bodily presence is weak, and ^shis speech of no account.”
