The expression  Now concerning introduces a reply to a question in the Corinthians’ letter; see 7:1
bfood offered to idols: we know that c“all of us possess knowledge.” This “knowledgedpuffs up, ebut love builds up.

1 Corinthians 13:4-9

4 fLove is patient and gkind; love hdoes not envy or boast; it iis not arrogant 5or rude. It jdoes not insist on its own way; it kis not irritable or resentful;
