1 John 2:29

29If you know that ahe is righteous, you may be sure that beveryone who practices righteousness has been born of him.

1 John 3:7-8

7Little children, clet no one deceive you. dWhoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. 8 eWhoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was fto destroy the works of the devil.
