1 Kings 11:12-13

Isaiah 9:7

7Of the increase of his government and of peace
ethere will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
fwith justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.

Jeremiah 23:5-6

5 hBehold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous iBranch, and jhe shall reign as king and deal wisely, and shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. 6In his days Judah will be saved, and kIsrael will ldwell securely. And this is the name by which he will be called: m‘The Lord is our righteousness.’

Jeremiah 33:21

21 nthen also my covenant with David my servant may be broken, so that he shall not have a son to reign on his throne, and my covenant with the Levitical priests my ministers.

Jeremiah 33:26

26then I will reject the offspring of Jacob and David my servant and will not choose one of his offspring to rule over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. oFor I will restore their fortunes and will have mercy on them.”
