1 Kings 11:12-13

12Yet for the sake of David your father I will not do it in your days, but I will tear it out of the hand of your son. 13However, aI will not tear away all the kingdom, but bI will give one tribe to your son, for the sake of David my servant and for the sake of Jerusalem cthat I have chosen.”

Jeremiah 23:5-6

Jeremiah 33:15-16

15In those days and at that time I will cause a righteous oBranch to spring up for David, and he shall execute justice and righteousness in the land. 16In those days Judah will be saved, pand Jerusalem will dwell securely. And this is the name by which it will be called: q‘The Lord is our righteousness.’

Ezekiel 37:24-25

24“My servant rDavid sshall be king over them, and they shall all have tone shepherd. uThey shall walk in my rules and be careful to obey my statutes. 25 vThey shall dwell in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children’s children shall dwell there wforever, and David my servant shall be their prince xforever.
