1 Kings 12:28

28So the king took counsel and amade two calves of gold. And he said to the people, “You have gone up to Jerusalem long enough. bBehold your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.”

Jeremiah 10:3-4

Jeremiah 10:9

their clothing is violet and purple;

for his images are false,

Hosea 8:4-6

They set up princes, but I knew it not.
With their silver and gold they made idols
for their own destruction.

Habakkuk 2:18-20

when its maker has shaped it,
a metal image, ya teacher of lies?
For its maker trusts in his own creation

to a silent stone, Arise!
Can this teach?
Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver,

Acts 17:29
