1 Kings 12:28-29

28So the king took counsel and amade two calves of gold. And he said to the people, “You have gone up to Jerusalem long enough. bBehold your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.” 29And he set one in Bethel, and the other he put in Dan.

Hosea 8:5-6

5 cI have
Hebrew He has
spurned your calf, O Samaria.
My anger burns against them.
eHow long will they be incapable of innocence?
6For it is from Israel;
a craftsman made it;
it is not God.
fThe calf of Samaria
gshall be broken to pieces.
Or  shall go up in flames

Hosea 10:5-6

5The inhabitants of Samaria tremble
for ithe calf
Or calves
of kBeth-aven.
Its people mourn for it, and so do its idolatrous priests
those who rejoiced over it and lover its glory
for it has departed
Or  has gone into exile
from them.
6 nThe thing itself shall be carried to Assyria
as tribute to othe great king.
Or  to King Jareb

Ephraim shall be put to shame,
and Israel shall be ashamed qof his idol.
Or counsel

Hosea 10:14-15

14therefore sthe tumult of war shall arise among your people,
and all your fortresses shall be destroyed,
as tShalman destroyed Beth-arbel on the day of battle;
umothers were dashed in pieces with their children.
15Thus it shall be done to you, O vBethel,
because of your great evil.
At dawn wthe king of Israel
shall be utterly cut off.

Amos 5:5-6

5but do not seek xBethel,
and do not enter into yGilgal
or cross over to zBeersheba;
for aaGilgal shall surely go into exile,
and abBethel shall come to nothing.”
6 acSeek the Lord and live,
adlest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph,
and it devour, with none to quench it for aeBethel,
