1 Kings 13:18

18 And he said to him, “I also am a prophet as you are, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the Lord, saying, ‘Bring him back with you into your house that he may eat bread and drink water.’” But he lied to him.

1 Kings 22:21-23

21 Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, saying, ‘I will entice him.’ 22 And the Lord said to him, ‘By what means?’ And he said, ‘I will go out, and will be ^aa lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And he said, ‘You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.’ 23 Now therefore behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; the Lord has declared disaster for you.”

2 Chronicles 18:19-22

Isaiah 9:15

15 ^cthe elder and honored man is the head,
and ^dthe prophet who teaches lies is the tail;

Jeremiah 14:14

14 And the Lord said to me: “The ^eprophets are prophesying lies in my name. ^fI did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, ^gworthless divination, and ^hthe deceit of their own minds.

Jeremiah 23:14

14 But in the prophets of Jerusalem
I have seen a horrible thing:
ⁱthey commit adultery and walk in lies;
^jthey strengthen the hands of evildoers,
so that no one turns from his evil;
^kall of them have become like Sodom to me,
^land its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”

Jeremiah 23:25

25 I have heard what the prophets have said ^mwho prophesy lies in my name, saying, ⁿ‘I have dreamed, I have dreamed!’

Jeremiah 23:32

32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, declares the Lord, and who tell them and ^olead my people astray by their lies and their recklessness, when ^pI did not send them or charge them. So they do not profit this people at all, declares the Lord.
