Hezekiah Organizes the Priests

1 Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah and ^gbroke in pieces the ^hpillars and cut down ⁱthe Asherim and broke down the high places and the altars throughout all Judah and Benjamin, and in Ephraim and Manasseh, until they had destroyed them all. Then all the people of Israel returned to their cities, every man to his possession.

2 Chronicles 34:5-7

5 ^jHe also burned the bones of the priests on their altars and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem. 6 And in the ^kcities of Manasseh, Ephraim, and Simeon, and as far as Naphtali, in their ruins ^{▼▼The meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain} all around, 7 he broke down the altars and beat the ^mAsherim and the images ⁿinto powder and cut down all the incense altars throughout all the land of Israel. Then he returned to Jerusalem.
