1 Kings 13:2

2 aAnd the man cried against the altar by the word of the Lord and said, “O altar, altar, thus says the Lord: ‘Behold, a son shall be born to the house of David, bJosiah by name, and he shall sacrifice on you the priests of the high places who make offerings on you, and human bones shall be burned on you.’”

2 Kings 23:8

8And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had made offerings, from cGeba to Beersheba. And he broke down the high places of the gates that were at the entrance of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on one’s left at the gate of the city.

2 Kings 23:16

2 Chronicles 14:3-5

Hezekiah Organizes the Priests

1Now when all this was finished, all Israel who were present went out to the cities of Judah and mbroke in pieces the npillars and cut down othe Asherim and broke down the high places and the altars throughout all Judah and Benjamin, and in Ephraim and Manasseh, until they had destroyed them all. Then all the people of Israel returned to their cities, every man to his possession.

2 Chronicles 34:3-7

3For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet a boy, he began to seek the God of David his father, and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem of the high places, the pAsherim, and the carved and the metal images. 4And they chopped down the altars of the Baals in his presence, and he cut down the qincense altars that stood above them. And he broke in pieces the rAsherim and the carved and the metal images, and he made dust of them and sscattered it over the graves of those who had sacrificed to them. 5 tHe also burned the bones of the priests on their altars and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem. 6And in the ucities of Manasseh, Ephraim, and Simeon, and as far as Naphtali, in their ruins

7he broke down the altars and beat the wAsherim and the images xinto powder and cut down all the incense altars throughout all the land of Israel. Then he returned to Jerusalem.

Isaiah 27:9

9Therefore by this ythe guilt of Jacob will be atoned for,
and this will be the full fruit of the removal of his sin:
