1 Kings 13:6

6And the king said to the man of God, aEntreat now the favor of the Lord your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored to me.” And the man of God entreated the Lord, and the king’s hand was restored to him and became as it was before.

1 Kings 17:18-24

18And she said to Elijah, bWhat have you against me, O cman of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to remembrance and to cause the death of my son!” 19And he said to her, “Give me your son.” And he took him from her arms and carried him up into the upper chamber where he lodged, and laid him on his own bed. 20And he cried to the Lord, “O Lord my God, have you brought calamity even upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by killing her son?” 21 dThen he stretched himself upon the child three times and cried to the Lord, “O Lord my God, let this child’s life

22And the Lord listened to the voice of Elijah. And the life of the child came into him again, and fhe revived. 23And Elijah took the child and brought him down from the upper chamber into the house and delivered him to his mother. And Elijah said, “See, your son lives.” 24And the woman said to Elijah, gNow I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in your mouth is truth.”

2 Kings 4:33-35

33So he went in and hshut the door behind the two of them iand prayed to the Lord. 34Then he went up and lay on the child, putting his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands. And as jhe stretched himself upon him, the flesh of the child became warm. 35Then he got up again and walked once back and forth in the house, and went up kand stretched himself upon him. The child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

2 Kings 19:15-20

15And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord and said: “O Lord, the God of Israel, lenthroned above the cherubim, myou are the God, you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; you have made heaven and earth. 16 nIncline your ear, O Lord, and hear; oopen your eyes, O Lord, and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, which he has sent pto mock the living God. 17Truly, O Lord, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands 18and have cast their gods into the fire, for they were not gods, qbut the work of men’s hands, wood and stone. Therefore they were destroyed. 19So now, O Lord our God, save us, please, from his hand, rthat all the kingdoms of the earth may know that syou, O Lord, are God alone.”

20Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Your prayer to me about Sennacherib king of Assyria tI have heard.

2 Kings 20:2-5

2Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, saying, 3Now, O Lord, uplease remember how I have walked before you in faithfulness and vwith a whole heart, wand have done what is good in your sight.” xAnd Hezekiah wept bitterly. 4And before Isaiah had gone out of the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him: 5“Turn back, and say to Hezekiah ythe leader of my people, Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: zI have heard your prayer; aaI have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord,

2 Chronicles 14:11-12

11And Asa abcried to the Lord his God, “O Lord, there is none like you to help, between the mighty and the weak. Help us, O Lord our God, acfor we rely on you, adand in your name we have come against this multitude. O Lord, you are our God; let not man prevail against you.” 12 aeSo the Lord defeated the Ethiopians before Asa and before Judah, and the Ethiopians fled.
