1 Kings 14:10-11

10 therefore behold, I will bring harm upon the house of Jeroboam and ^awill cut off from Jeroboam every male, ^bboth bond and free in Israel, and ^cwill burn up the house of Jeroboam, as a man burns up dung until it is all gone. 11 ^dAnyone belonging to Jeroboam who dies in the city the dogs shall eat, and anyone who dies in the open country the birds of the heavens shall eat, for the Lord has spoken it.”’

1 Kings 21:23-24

23 And of Jezebel the Lord also said, ^e‘The dogs shall eat Jezebel within ^fthe walls of Jezreel.’ 24 ^gAnyone belonging to Ahab who dies in the city the dogs shall eat, and anyone of his who dies in the open country the birds of the heavens shall eat.”

2 Kings 9:10

10 ^hAnd the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the territory of Jezreel, and none shall bury her.” Then he opened the door and fled.

2 Kings 9:36-37

36 When they came back and told him, he said, “This is the word of the Lord, which he spoke by his servant Elijah the Tishbite: ⁱ‘In the territory of Jezreel the dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel, 37 and the corpse of Jezebel shall be ^jas dung on the face of the field in the territory of Jezreel, so that no one can say, This is Jezebel.’”

Jeremiah 8:1-3

1 “At that time, declares the Lord, the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of its officials, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be brought out of their tombs. 2 And they shall be spread ^kbefore the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. ^lAnd they shall not be gathered or buried. ^mThey shall be as dung on the surface of the ground. 3 ⁿDeath shall be preferred to life by all the remnant that remains of this evil family ^oin all the places where I have driven them, declares the Lord of hosts.

Jeremiah 9:22

22 Speak: “Thus declares the Lord,
^p‘The dead bodies of men shall fall
like dung upon the open field,
^qlike sheaves after the reaper,
and none shall gather them.’”

Jeremiah 25:33
