2And Jeroboam said to his wife, “Arise, and disguise yourself, that it not be known that you are the wife of Jeroboam, and go to aShiloh. Behold, Ahijah the prophet is there, bwho said of me that I should be king over this people.

1 Kings 14:5

5And the Lord said to cAhijah, “Behold, the wife of Jeroboam is coming to inquire of you concerning her son, for he is sick. Thus and thus shall you say to her.”

When she came, she pretended to be another woman.

Ezekiel 14:3-5

3 dSon of man, these men have taken their idols into their hearts, and set ethe stumbling block of their iniquity before their faces. fShould I indeed let myself be consulted by them? 4Therefore speak to them and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Any one of the house of Israel who takes his idols into his heart and sets the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and yet comes to the prophet, gI the Lord will answer him as he comes with the multitude of his idols, 5 hthat I may lay hold of the hearts of the house of Israel, iwho are all estranged from me through their idols.

Ezekiel 14:7-8

7For any one of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel, jwho separates himself from me, taking his idols into his heart and putting the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and yet comes to a prophet to consult me through him, kI the Lord will answer him myself. 8And lI will set my face against that man; I mwill make him a sign and a byword nand cut him off from the midst of my people, oand you shall know that I am the Lord.

Luke 20:20-23

Acts 5:3-5

3But Peter said, “Ananias, why has aaSatan filled your heart to lie abto the Holy Spirit and acto keep back for yourself part of the proceeds of the land? 4While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to man but adto God.” 5When Ananias heard these words, he aefell down and breathed his last. And afgreat fear came upon all who heard of it.

Acts 5:9-10

9But Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together agto test ahthe Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” 10Immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.

Hebrews 4:13

13And aino creature is hidden from his sight, but all are ajnaked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
