1 Kings 14:22

22 aAnd Judah did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, and they bprovoked him to jealousy with their sins that they committed, more than all that their fathers had done.

2 Kings 24:19-20

dAnd Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

2 Chronicles 36:12-13

He did not humble himself before eJeremiah the prophet, who spoke from the mouth of the Lord. 13 fHe also rebelled against King Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God. gHe stiffened his neck and hardened his heart against turning to the Lord, the God of Israel.

Ezekiel 17:16-20

16 h“As I live, declares the Lord God, surely iin the place where the king dwells jwho made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant with him he broke, in Babylon he shall die. 17 kPharaoh with his mighty army and great company will not help him in war, lwhen mounds are cast up and siege walls built to cut off many lives. 18He despised the oath in breaking the covenant, and behold, he gave his hand and did all these things; he shall not escape. 19Therefore thus says the Lord God: As I live, surely it is my oath that he despised, and my covenant that he broke. I will return it upon his head. 20 mI will spread my net over him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon nand enter into judgment with him there ofor the treachery he has committed against me.
