Jeremiah 2:28

Jeremiah 3:8-11

8She saw that for all the adulteries of that faithless one, Israel, oI had sent her away with pa decree of divorce. qYet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but she too went rand played the whore. 9Because she took her whoredom lightly, she polluted the land, committing adultery with sstone and tree. 10Yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah did not return to me twith her whole heart, but in pretense, declares the Lord.”

11And the Lord said to me, uFaithless Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.

Ezekiel 16:51-52

51 vSamaria has not committed half your sins. You have committed more abominations than they, and whave made your sisters appear righteous by all the abominations that you have committed. 52 xBear your disgrace, you also, for you have intervened on behalf of your sisters. Because of your sins in which you acted more abominably than they, they are more in the right than you. So be ashamed, you also, and bear your disgrace, for you have made your sisters appear righteous.
