14 aBut the high places were not taken away. Nevertheless, bthe heart of Asa was wholly true to the Lord all his days.

1 Kings 22:43

43 cHe walked in all the way of Asa his father. He did not turn aside from it, doing what was right in the sight of the Lord. Yet dthe high places were not taken away, and the people still sacrificed and made offerings on the high places.

2 Kings 18:4

4 gHe removed the high places and broke the hpillars and cut down ithe Asherah. And he broke in pieces jthe bronze serpent that Moses had made, for until those days the people of Israel had made offerings to it (it was called Nehushtan).
 Nehushtan sounds like the Hebrew for both  bronze and  serpent

2 Chronicles 31:4

4And he commanded the people who lived in Jerusalem to give lthe portion due to the priests and the Levites, that they might give themselves to the Law of the Lord.
