9“Arise, go to aZarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to feed you.”Ezekiel 28:21-26
21 b“Son of man, cset your face toward dSidon, and eprophesy against her 22and say, Thus says the Lord God:“Behold, fI am against you, O Sidon,
and gI will manifest my glory in your midst.
And hthey shall know that I am the Lord
iwhen I execute judgments in her
and jmanifest my holiness in her;
23for I will send kpestilence into her,
and blood into her streets;
and the slain shall fall in her midst,
by the sword that is against her on every side.
Then they will know that I am the Lord.
24“And for the house of Israel lthere shall be no more a brier to prick or ma thorn to hurt them among all their neighbors nwho have treated them with contempt. Then they will know that I am the Lord God.
Israel Gathered in Security
25“Thus says the Lord God: oWhen I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and pmanifest my holiness in them in the sight of the nations, qthen they shall dwell in their own land that I gave to my servant Jacob. 26 rAnd they shall dwell securely in it, and they shall build houses and plant vineyards. They shall dwell securely, swhen I execute judgments upon all their neighbors twho have treated them with contempt. uThen they will know that I am the Lord their God.”Obadiah 20
20The exiles of this host of the people of Israelshall possess the land of the Canaanites as far as vZarephath,
and the exiles of Jerusalem who are in Sepharad
shall possess the cities of the Negeb.
