31 cthe prophets prophesy falsely,and the priests rule at their direction;
dmy people love to have it so,
but what will you do when the end comes?
Jeremiah 23:16-17
16Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, efilling you with vain hopes. fThey speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord. 17They say continually to those who despise the word of the Lord, g‘It shall be well with you’; and to everyone who hstubbornly follows his own heart, they say, i‘No disaster shall come upon you.’”Jeremiah 27:9
