1 Kings 18:26-29

26And they took the bull that was given them, and they prepared it and called upon the name of Baal from morning until noon, saying, “O Baal, answer us!” But there was no voice, and no one answered. And they limped around the altar that they had made. 27And at noon Elijah mocked them, saying, “Cry aloud, for he is a god. Either he is musing, or he is relieving himself, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened.” 28And they cried aloud and acut themselves after their custom with swords and lances, until the blood gushed out upon them. 29And as midday passed, they raved on until the time of bthe offering of the oblation, but there was no voice. No one answered; no one paid attention.

Psalms 97:7

7All worshipers of images are cput to shame,
who make their boast in dworthless idols;
eworship him, all you gods!

Isaiah 44:17

17And the rest of it he makes into a god, his idol, and falls down to it and worships it. fHe prays to it and says, “Deliver me, for you are my god!”

Jeremiah 51:47

47 Therefore, behold, the days are coming
when gI will punish the images of Babylon;
hher whole land shall be put to shame,
and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

Daniel 3:7

7Therefore, as soon as all the peoples heard the sound of the horn, pipe, lyre, trigon, harp, bagpipe, and every kind of music, all ithe peoples, nations, and languages fell down and worshiped the golden image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Daniel 3:18

18But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.”

Daniel 3:29

29Therefore jI make a decree: Any kpeople, nation, or language that speaks anything against the God of lShadrach, Meshach, and Abednego mshall be torn limb from limb, and their houses laid in ruins, for there is no other god who is able to rescue in this way.”

Daniel 5:23

23but you have lifted up yourself against nthe Lord of heaven. And othe vessels of his house have been brought in before you, and you and your lords, your wives, and your concubines have drunk wine from them. pAnd you have praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood, and stone, which do not see or hear or know, qbut the God in whose hand is your breath, and rwhose are all your ways, syou have not honored.
