1 Kings 18:29

29And as midday passed, they raved on until the time of athe offering of the oblation, but there was no voice. No one answered; no one paid attention.

2 Chronicles 18:9-11

9Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah were sitting on their thrones, arrayed in their robes. And they were sitting at the threshing floor bat the entrance of the gate of Samaria, and all the prophets were prophesying before them. 10And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made for himself horns of iron and said, “Thus says the Lord, ‘With these you shall push the Syrians until they are destroyed.’” 11And all the prophets prophesied so and said, “Go up to Ramoth-gilead and triumph. The Lord will give it into the hand of the king.”

Jeremiah 27:14-16

14 cDo not listen to the words of the prophets who are saying to you, ‘You shall not serve the king of Babylon,’ dfor it is a lie that they are prophesying to you. 15I have not sent them, declares the Lord, but ethey are prophesying falsely in my name, with the result that I will drive you out and you will perish, you and the prophets who are prophesying to you.”

16Then I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, “Thus says the Lord: fDo not listen to the words of your prophets who are prophesying to you, saying, gBehold, the vessels of the Lord’s house will now shortly be brought back from Babylon,’ hfor it is a lie that they are prophesying to you.

Ezekiel 13:1-9

False Prophets Condemned

1The word of the Lord came to me: 2 iSon of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel, who are prophesying, and say to those jwho prophesy from their own hearts: ‘Hear the word of the Lord!’ 3Thus says the Lord God, Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! 4Your prophets have been like jackals among ruins, O Israel. 5 kYou have not gone up into the breaches, or built up a wall for the house of Israel, that it might stand in battle in the day of the Lord. 6 lThey have seen false visions and lying divinations. They say, ‘Declares the Lord,’ mwhen the Lord has not sent them, and yet they expect him to fulfill their word. 7Have you not seen a false vision and uttered a lying divination, nwhenever you have said, ‘Declares the Lord,’ although I have not spoken?”

8Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Because you have uttered falsehood and seen lying visions, therefore behold, oI am against you, declares the Lord God. 9My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who give lying divinations. They shall not be in the council of my people, pnor be enrolled in the register of the house of Israel, qnor shall they enter the land of Israel. rAnd you shall know that I am the Lord God.
