1 Kings 19:11

Ascribe to the Lord Glory

A Psalm of David.

1 Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings,
Hebrew sons of God, or sons of might

fascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
2Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name;
worship the Lord in gthe splendor of holiness.
Or  in holy attire

3 The voice of the Lord is over ithe waters;
the God of glory jthunders,
the Lord, over many waters.
4The voice of the Lord is kpowerful;
the voice of the Lord is full of majesty.
5 The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
the Lord breaks lthe cedars of Lebanon.
6He makes Lebanon to mskip like a calf,
and nSirion like a young owild ox.
7 The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.
8The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness;
the Lord shakes the wilderness of pKadesh.
9 The voice of the Lord makes qthe deer give birth
Revocalization yields  makes the oaks to shake

and strips the forests bare,
and in his temple all cry, “Glory!”
10 The Lord sits enthroned over sthe flood;
the Lord sits enthroned tas king forever.
11May the Lord give ustrength to his people!
