1 Kings 20:29-30

29And they encamped opposite one another seven days. Then on the seventh day the battle was joined. And the people of Israel struck down of the Syrians 100,000 foot soldiers in one day. 30And the rest fled into the city of aAphek, and the wall fell upon 27,000 men who were left.

Ben-hadad also fled and entered ban inner chamber in the city.

Job 20:24-25

24 cHe will flee from an iron weapon;
da bronze arrow will strike ehim through.
25It fis drawn forth and comes out of his body;
gthe glittering point comes out of his hgallbladder;
iterrors come upon him.

Isaiah 24:17-18

17 jTerror and the pit and the snare
The Hebrew words for  terror,  pit, and  snare sound alike

are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth!
18 lHe who flees at the sound of the terror
shall fall into the pit,
and he who climbs out of the pit
shall be caught in the snare.
For mthe windows of heaven are opened,
and nthe foundations of the earth tremble.

Jeremiah 15:2-3

2And when they ask you, ‘Where shall we go?’ you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord:

o“‘Those who are for pestilence, to pestilence,
and those who are for the sword, to the sword;
those who are for famine, to famine,
and those who are for captivity, to captivity.’
3 pI will appoint over them four kinds of destroyers, declares the Lord: the sword to kill, the dogs to tear, and qthe birds of the air rand the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy.

The Destruction of Israel

1I saw the Lord standing beside

the altar, and he said:

tStrike the capitals until uthe thresholds vshake,
wand shatter them on the heads of all the people;
Hebrew  all of them

and those who are left of them I will kill with the sword;
ynot one of them shall flee away;
not one of them shall escape.
2 zIf they dig into Sheol,
from there shall my hand take them;
aaif they climb up to heaven,
from there I will bring them down.
