Because he has humbled himself before me, I will not bring the disaster in his days; dbut in his son’s days I will bring the disaster upon his house.”

12and you say, eHow I hated discipline,
and my heart fdespised reproof!
13I did not listen to the voice of my teachers
or incline my ear to my instructors.
14 gI am at the brink of utter ruin
in the assembled congregation.”

Micah 2:7

7Should this be said, O house of Jacob?
hHas the Lord grown impatient?
Hebrew  Has the spirit of the Lord grown short?

Are these his deeds?
Do not my words do good
to him who walks uprightly?
