1 Kings 22:15

15And when he had come to the king, the king said to him, “Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall we refrain?” And he answered him, “Go up and triumph; the Lord will give it into the hand of the king.”

1 Kings 22:22-23

22And the Lord said to him, ‘By what means?’ And he said, ‘I will go out, and will be aa lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And he said, ‘You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.’ 23Now therefore behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; the Lord has declared disaster for you.”

2 Chronicles 18:14

14And when he had come to the king, the king said to him, “Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I refrain?” And he answered, “Go up and triumph; they will be given into your hand.”

Jeremiah 5:31

31 bthe prophets prophesy falsely,
and the priests rule at their direction;
cmy people love to have it so,
but what will you do when the end comes?

Jeremiah 8:10-11

10 dTherefore I will give their wives to others
and their fields to conquerors,
because from the least to the greatest
everyone eis greedy for unjust gain;
from prophet to priest,
everyone deals falsely.
11They have healed fthe wound of my people lightly,
saying, ‘Peace, peace,’
when there is no peace.

Jeremiah 14:13-14

Lying Prophets

13Then I said: “Ah, Lord God, behold, the prophets gsay to them, ‘You shall not see the sword, nor shall you have famine, but I will give you assured peace in this place.’” 14And the Lord said to me: “The hprophets are prophesying lies in my name. iI did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, jworthless divination, and kthe deceit of their own minds.

Jeremiah 23:14-17

14But in the prophets of Jerusalem
I have seen a horrible thing:
lthey commit adultery and walk in lies;
mthey strengthen the hands of evildoers,
so that no one turns from his evil;
nall of them have become like Sodom to me,
oand its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”
15Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets:
pBehold, I will feed them with bitter food
qand give them rpoisoned water to drink,
for from the prophets of Jerusalem
ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”
16Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you, sfilling you with vain hopes. tThey speak visions of their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord. 17They say continually to those who despise the word of the Lord, u‘It shall be well with you’; and to everyone who vstubbornly follows his own heart, they say, wNo disaster shall come upon you.’”
