1 Kings 22:20-23

20and the Lord said, ‘Who will entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?’ And one said one thing, and another said another. 21Then a spirit came forward and stood before the Lord, saying, ‘I will entice him.’ 22And the Lord said to him, ‘By what means?’ And he said, ‘I will go out, and will be aa lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.’ And he said, ‘You are to entice him, and you shall succeed; go out and do so.’ 23Now therefore behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets; the Lord has declared disaster for you.”

1 Kings 22:28

28And Micaiah said, “If you return in peace, bthe Lord has not spoken by me.” And he said, cHear, all you peoples!”

1 Kings 22:34-37

34But a certain man drew his bow at random
Hebrew in his innocence
and struck the king of Israel between the scale armor and the breastplate. Therefore he said to the driver of his chariot, “Turn around and carry me out of the battle, efor I am wounded.”
35And the battle continued that day, and the king was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians, until at evening he died. And the blood of the wound flowed into the bottom of the chariot. 36And about sunset a cry went through the army, “Every man to his city, and every man to his country!”

37So the king died, and was brought to Samaria. And they buried the king in Samaria.

2 Chronicles 25:16

16But as he was speaking, the king said to him, “Have we made you a royal counselor? Stop! Why should you be struck down?” So the prophet stopped, but said, “I know that fGod has determined to destroy you, because you have done this and have not listened to my counsel.”

10The Lord spoke to Manasseh and to his people, but they paid no attention.

15The Lord, the God of their fathers, gsent persistently to them by his messengers, because he had compassion on his people and on his dwelling place. 16 hBut they kept mocking the messengers of God, idespising his words and scoffing at his prophets, juntil the wrath of the Lord rose against his people, until there was no remedy.

17 kTherefore he brought up against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or aged. He gave them all into his hand.

Jeremiah 25:3-5

3“For twenty-three years, lfrom the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, to this day, the word of the Lord has come to me, and I have spoken mpersistently to you, nbut you have not listened. 4 oYou have neither listened nor inclined your ears to hear, although the Lord ppersistently sent to you all his servants the prophets, 5saying, qTurn now, every one of you, rfrom his evil way and evil deeds, and sdwell upon the land that the Lord has given to you and your fathers from of old and forever.
