Solomon’s Prayer for Wisdom

1 ^aSolomon made a marriage alliance with Pharaoh king of Egypt. He took Pharaoh’s daughter and brought her into ^bthe city of David until he had finished ^cbuilding his own house ^dand the house of the Lord ^eand the wall around Jerusalem.

1 Kings 7:8

8 His own house where he was to dwell, in the other court back of the hall, was of like workmanship. Solomon also made a house like this hall for Pharaoh’s daughter ^fwhom he had taken in marriage.

1 Kings 9:24

24 But ^gPharaoh’s daughter went up from the city of David to ^hher own house that Solomon had built for her. ⁱThen he built ^jthe Millo.
