1 Kings 4:29-34

29 aAnd God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding beyond measure, and breadth of mind blike the sand on the seashore, 30so that Solomon’s wisdom surpassed the wisdom of all cthe people of the east dand all the wisdom of Egypt. 31For he was ewiser than all other men, wiser than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, Calcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol, and his fame was in all the surrounding nations. 32 fHe also spoke 3,000 proverbs, gand his songs were 1,005. 33He spoke of trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon to the hyssop that grows out of the wall. He spoke also of beasts, and of birds, and of reptiles, and of fish. 34And people of all nations came to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and from hall the kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.

The Queen of Sheba

1 iNow when jthe queen of kSheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the Lord, she came lto test him with hard questions. 2She came to Jerusalem with a very great retinue, with camels mbearing spices and very much gold and precious stones. And when she came to Solomon, she told him all that was on her mind. 3And Solomon answered all her questions; there was nothing hidden from the king that he could not explain to her.

1 Kings 10:23-24

23 nThus King Solomon excelled all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom. 24And the whole earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put into his mind.
