Psalms 39:5-6

5 Behold, you have made my days a few handbreadths,
and ^fmy lifetime is as nothing before you.
Surely ^gall mankind stands as a mere breath! Selah
6 Surely a man ^hgoes about as a shadow!
Surely for nothing ^{▼▼Hebrew Surely as a breath} they are in turmoil;
man ^jheaps up wealth and does not know who will gather!

Ecclesiastes 1:17-18

17 And I ^kapplied my heart to know wisdom and to know ^lmadness and folly. I perceived that this also is but ^ma striving after wind.

18 For ⁿin much wisdom is much vexation,
and he who increases knowledge increases sorrow.

Ecclesiastes 2:11

11 Then I considered all that my hands had done and the toil I had expended in doing it, and behold, all was ^ovanity and a striving after wind, and there was nothing ^pto be gained under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 2:17

17 So I hated life, because what is done under the sun was grievous to me, for ^qall is vanity and a striving after wind.
