34And people of all nations came to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and from aall the kings of the earth, who had heard of his wisdom.

1 Kings 10:6-9

6And she said to the king, “The report was true that I heard in my own land of your words and of your wisdom, 7but I did not believe the reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it. And behold, the half was not told me. Your wisdom and prosperity surpass the report that I heard. 8 bHappy are your men! Happy are your servants, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom! 9 cBlessed be the Lord your God, who has delighted in you and set you on the throne of Israel! dBecause the Lord loved Israel forever, he has made you king, ethat you may execute justice and righteousness.”

Daniel 1:20

20And in every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all gthe magicians and henchanters that were in all his kingdom.

Daniel 4:9

9“O Belteshazzar, ichief of the magicians, because I know that jthe spirit of the holy gods is in you and that no kmystery is too difficult for you, tell me lthe visions of my dream that I saw and their interpretation.

Daniel 5:11-16

11There is a man in your kingdom min whom is the spirit of the holy gods.

12 rbecause an excellent spirit, knowledge, and sunderstanding tto interpret dreams, explain riddles, and usolve problems were found in this Daniel, vwhom the king named Belteshazzar. Now let Daniel be called, and he will show the interpretation.”

Daniel Interprets the Handwriting

13Then Daniel was brought in before the king. The king answered and said to Daniel, “You are that Daniel, one of wthe exiles of Judah, whom the king my father brought from Judah. 14I have heard of you that xthe spirit of the gods

is in you, and that zlight and understanding and excellent wisdom are found in you.
15Now aathe wise men, the abenchanters, have been brought in before me to read this writing and make known to me its interpretation, but acthey could not show the interpretation of the matter. 16 adBut I have heard that you can give interpretations and aesolve problems. afNow if you can read the writing and make known to me its interpretation, agyou shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around your neck and ahshall be the third ruler in the kingdom.”

Zechariah 8:20-23

20Thus says the Lord of hosts: Peoples shall yet come, even the inhabitants of many cities. 21The inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, ai‘Let us go at once ajto entreat the favor of the Lord and to seek the Lord of hosts; I myself am going.’ 22 akMany peoples and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem and alto entreat the favor of the Lord. 23Thus says the Lord of hosts: In those days amten men anfrom the nations of every tongue shall take hold of the robe of a Jew, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for aowe have heard that God is with you.’”
