1 Kings 5:5

5And so I intend to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, aas the Lord said to David my father, ‘Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, shall build the house for my name.’

1 Kings 6:12

12“Concerning this house that you are building, bif you will walk in my statutes and obey my rules and keep all my commandments and walk in them, then I will establish my word with you, cwhich I spoke to David your father.

1 Kings 8:19

19 dNevertheless, you shall not build the house, but your son who shall be born to you shall build the house for my name.’

1 Chronicles 17:11-12

11When your days are fulfilled to walk with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, one of your own sons, and I will establish his kingdom. 12He shall build a house for me, and I will establish his throne forever.

1 Chronicles 22:9-10
