9My servants shall bring it down to the sea from Lebanon, and I will make it into rafts to go by sea to the place you direct. And I will have them broken up there, and you shall receive it. And you shall meet my wishes aby providing food for my household.” 10So Hiram supplied Solomon with all the timber of cedar and cypress that he desired, 11while Solomon gave Hiram 20,000 cors ▼▼A cor was about 6 bushels or 220 liters

cors of beaten oil. Solomon gave this to Hiram year by year. 2 Chronicles 2:10

6 “I gave you cleanness of teeth in all your cities,and vlack of bread in all your places,
wyet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.
7 “I also xwithheld the rain from you
when there were yet three months to the harvest;
yI would send rain on one city,
and send no rain on another city;
one field would have rain,
and the field on which it did not rain would wither;
8so two or three cities zwould wander to another city
to drink water, and would not be satisfied;
aayet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.
9 ab“I struck you with blight and mildew;
your many gardens and your vineyards,
your fig trees and your olive trees acthe locust devoured;
adyet you did not return to me,”
declares the Lord.
